The Derma Co AHA BHA Face Wash Review | The Derma Co Creamy Cleanser Review

hi guys welcome or welcome back to another article with skincare blog and if this is your first time here hi this is the skincare blog we talk about skincare products we review skincare products for you and i do have acne-prone sensitive skin .

so today we are going to review two cleansers from a brand called derma co so derma co is a brand that you guys recommended that i try for you guys and i got you know a lot of products from them actually and we are going to review them one by one because I personally feel that with dermaco it can be either a hit or a miss like there's either a two-star product or a five star product like there's no in between and today you know both the cleansers that.

We are going to look at fall in the previous category so i'm going to save you some money and now without further ado let's get started first I want to review the creamy cleanser for sensitive skin from derma co as you can see it's over like there's nothing left I've used up the entire product and i use the entire product before looking at the ingredient list okay because it did say sensitive skin so I thought it will not have any sensitizing components it does not have fragrance right.

So you know that is a good thing so you're not so now you're thinking oh this is the holy grail for you and you're going to buy it but just stop don't make this mistake so okay so let's talk about the product a little bit uh there are just a few ingredients in this product there is just one solvent which is uh which is water and then they have the different cleansers or emulsifiers  have also some humectants so they have glycerin and propylene glycol but as the main cleansing agent as the main cleansing agent they have something called the sodium laury sulphate okay not to be confused with sodium laureth sulfate which i got confused with rightand i was thinkingoh they are dermatologists they will notput sls in a in a product right.

They did even though you think that this is a good product it is made for sensitive skin it is made for sensitive skin and even then they chose to use the most sensitizing cleansing agent ever and put this in the product which blows my mind and i'll quote sodium laury sulfate SLS is one of the most sensitizing cleansing agents used in the skin care products in fact it is so sensitizing that it's considered a standard comparison substance for measuring the skin sensitization of other ingredients right okay enough said so this product.

I'm sorry if you dm'd me and I was still in the process of using this product this product particularly did not sensitize my skin it my skin was okay using this product but i had not looked at the ingredient list and after looking at it this is not something that i would recommend for anyone if you have sensitive skin this is a no-no for you because it's going to make it more sensitive okay even though it has no fragrance um the texture of the product was nice the finish of the product was nice it lasted me you know 20 days.

I used it morning and at the nighttime but you know I this is they could come up with something else they could just put sodium Laureth sulfate instead of sodium lauryl sulfatin and we will have a good product but apparently not next on the list I want to review the derma co aha bha cleanser so i would have put all the ingredients here but there are a lot of ingredients okay so i'm just going to put the key ingredients here and then i'm going to talk about the product with you so on the advantages of the product it does contain two of the good ahas right so mandalic acid is really on the top of the ingredient list and you have glycolic acid which is really below in the ingredient list okay i you know that.

I'm not a fan of glycolic acid for indian skin tone so I do like mandelic acid it is a much better choice for people of color like us and uh on the bha it has the salicylic acid which comes somewhere between in the ingredient list okay it is a foaming product so i would recommend that you do not use it morning and evening right twice a day don't do this if you want to use a foaming cleanser any foaming cleanser for that matter not only this one then you use it only maximum of thrice a week only at the night time and definitely use a sunscreen in the morning okay.

We've talked about it a lot of times so that is on the advantages of this product on the disadvantages of the product see you know there are like more than i think eight or nine cleansing agentsin that you need 10 cleansing agents to get all that dirt off it blew my mind like why are you putting 10ingredients of just cleansing agents and one of them is actually one of the most powerful cleansing agents it.

It will be listed here because clearly I don't know how to pronounce it okay it starts with c14 or something but that is one of the most irritating sensitizing product that you can have and people are actually allergic to it so if you have that strong for cleansing agent already then why do you need eight more on top of that so that is something that i personally did not understand there is also added fragrance in this product which is not the biggest problem of this product right.

So now you're thinking what is the biggest problem with this product so the biggest problem with this product is the preservatives that are being used so the two preservatives that are being used also start with an m that methy something too difficult to pronounce they are you know more sensitizing than parabens they are very sensitizing to the skin so a lot of people are going to have allergic reaction to this product okay and in some of the countries these two preservatives are not even allowed so personally i did not understand why will somebody choose these two preservatives to be put in a product even though.

It's a wash-off product right it's going to go away but then um if you are going to be using it for a longer or extended period of time then you are going to be putting those preservatives  on your skin and your skin is going to become sensitive and it's going to get allergy from that so i did not really understand why did they do that they do have like few good ingredients they have the mandelic acid glycolic acid um salicylic acid they have the glycerine and also propylene glycol which are two humectants but apart from that they do have a lot of cleansing asians not a fan of this product if you are somebody who struggles with blackheads or whiteheads.

You do need a aha bha cleanser in your skincare routine maybe like thrice a week not more than that right and you can just gently use it here but then this is not it unfortunately this is not it and you know derma co is a company that is formed by dermatologists right and i know nothing like i know nothing about chemical formulations that's compared to what dermatologists will know they will know exactly what ingredients will work and that they should not bedding fragrance right and that they should not be using sls not because of any kind of health problems because that is just fear mongering but because it is so sensitizing to the skin.

Thanku for reading this article it you got helpful information please comment oka bye
